Abstract:

A restricted cooperative game is a cooperative game with transferable utility in which the characteristic function depends on the coalition partition. The coalition partition restricts cooperation, namely, only those coalitions of players who belong to the same partition group are allowed. This limitation raises the question of the existence of stable coalition partitions. In this paper, we consider some classical values of cooperative game theory and show the existence of Nash-stable coalition structures in restricted cooperative games. The results on the existence of stable coalition structures are based on the theory of potential functions.
